Chemical Policy

we take chemical consultations very seriously, and we take great pride in providing you the best quality of work on your hair. Please note the following information- as it is important for you to know if you are a client receiving chemical services.

Previous color history and the use of medications must be divulged upon consultation. If you are currently under the care of your MD, it is your responsibility to research if color services are compatible with your medication or medical treatments.

Below is a list of items to address in our consultation prior to your appointment, as these items may cause negative chemical reactions to the hair when mixed with salon chemical services.

  • previously over-processed hair

  • taking prescription medications

  • thermal damage by over use of hot tools

  • use of metallic dyes, salts, or minerals

  • use of henna or vegetable dyes

  • permed or relaxed hair

It is our priority to conduct a thorough consultation for all services, however, it is your responsibility to be up front and honest about your hair history.

*any damage caused to the hair as a result of undivulged information during the consultation is not the responsibility of the stylist.
